Price action/bar estimation is right on, and in tune with other books on the field of study, but the lack of organization and the added difficulty of the author giving "new names" to already known things (MB2 ways buying a examination of the EMA on Im rating this three/5 because while most of the fabric its expert, and it does have some interesting set ups for price activeness trading, the writing style and organization of the whole book makes information technology virtually imposible to proceed track of the setups and logic backside them.
Price action/bar estimation is right on, and in tune with other books on the subject, but the lack of organisation and the added difficulty of the author giving "new names" to already known things (MB2 ways ownership a test of the EMA on a 2nd loftier/low, Hight 2 to refer to the 2nd loftier on a rally) makes this a tough non didactical read.
The fabric and set ups are nice, though nothing ground breaking. I do like his views on some of this classics of toll action, simply he should become a better editor.
Im going to bank check out his other books and videos, if whatsoever of them are any good I will exist rating them for y'all hither at goodreads ;) ...more than
I requite this book a 3.v/5. It'south amazingly informative. At that place's ane point lost on the try and fourth dimension required to decipher the huge block of texts. Half a point is deducted from the lack of annotations and poor placement of the charts.
...moreWhile on 1 hand I think Mr. Brooks provides a ridiculous corporeality of information hither, at to the lowest degree with regard to a specific trading methodology, I think his arrangement and flow were very subpar. This isn't my first rodeo with PA-based trading analysis, let alone a dense trading book, but I think this i suffers from a lack of effort put into readability that comes across as a bit sloppy.
Large sections of the book are devoted to paragraphs
This particular trading book is a fleck tough to review. While on one hand I recollect Mr. Brooks provides a ridiculous amount of information here, at to the lowest degree with regard to a specific trading methodology, I call up his organization and period were very subpar. This isn't my kickoff rodeo with PA-based trading analysis, let alone a dense trading book, but I think this 1 suffers from a lack of attempt put into readability that comes across equally a fleck sloppy.
Large sections of the volume are devoted to paragraphs and paragraphs of chart analysis, and the abiding flipping back and forth on pages to find merely the candlestick we were discussing (sometimes at that place are over a dozen to review) got actually tiring and drained my involvement. If there were more endeavour placed in dividing up the information more fluidly I think I'd accept enjoyed, and probable absorbed, more of the content.
This might be worth a reread at some betoken, but I demand to permit my patience rebuild.
...morePlease don't waste your fourth dimension reading this.
This was a struggle to read. I nigh quit multiple times, merely kept pushing through for the info. However it wasn't worth it, the info could easily exist gained in other books written meliorate than this. Please don't waste your fourth dimension reading this.
...morestudy this book over and over and over and once again
This is a no nonsense book on reading toll action. Even though, like all other TA books, some analyses came across as a tad hindsight driven, the author was able to use a consequent approach to highlight how he came to the interpretations.
I would say it is very enlightening and provided me with fresh perspectives for my own trading.
